We have a collection of tens of thousands of cars in the Ministry of Defence and those vehicles account for a tiny fraction.
However regardless of if you’re driving a vehicle from China or a car from another country, our instruction to our people is to avoid connecting MoD technology into their vehicle, to avoid having conversations at a classified level in any kind of vehicle, because of the growing threats of eavesdropping that are present in every single automobile, to restrict those confidential talks in protected areas. That’s a wise and reasonable thing for anyone concerned about safety.
